Ketchikan’s baseball team won its last regular season games against Petersburg last weekend at home 10-0, 17-0, and 5-1.
The Kings will be in Juneau for regions this weekend and will need to place at least second to be able to make the trip to state on June 4th.

The Kayhi boys soccer team wrapped up its season after a loss to the Juneau Bears at home on Friday 3-0 and Saturday 5-0.

Kayhi’s track and field team placed second overall at regions last weekend behind the Thunder Mountain Falcons qualifying plenty of athletes. The girls 4×400 and 4×800 team placed 1st while the boys 4×100 and 4×400 team also placed 1st.

State qualifiers: Connor Hicks 1st 100m in 11.18s and 1st 200m, Theopolis McBrunette 3rd 100m, Chris llanos 1st 800m and 1st 400m, Nahoni Davis 2nd 200m 2nd Triple Jump, Kaia Michalson 2nd Long Jump 3rd Triple Jump, Ricky Credito 1st 110 Hurdles 2nd 300m, Bernadette Franulavich 1st 100m and 1st 200m, Erica Rodenhisler 1st 400m and 1st 1600.
