Wrestling takes first at home

The Kayhi wrestling team took first at the Bill Wiess tournament with 216 points. Ten Kayhi wrestlers entered the 98, 106, 113, and 120 pounds weight classes. Nate Fousel (195 pounds) took first as well as freshman Matthew Rodriguez (98), freshman Brayden Linne (106), Vince Tenebro (113), Sean Tavares (120) and Max Collins (138).
“It may have been a record for us in terms of the most points,” Coach Collins said. “Overall they wrestled great.”
