Seven qualify for State swim and dive

The Kayhi boys came in second with 104.50 points and the girls came in fourth with 53 points at Regions last weekend. Senior Kiera O’Brien came in first in both the 50 freestyle and 500 freestyle and came in second in the 200 yard relay along with senior Bernadette Franulovich,  junior Angie Gomez and senior Shaelynn Painter.
Seniors Chance Rhein, Brennen Schulz, sophomore Gabe Bowlen, and freshmen Maury Meiresonne came first in the 400 yard freestyle relay. Schulz finished first in the 100 freestyle and Bowlen came in third. Rhein finished second for the 100 yard backstroke. Bowlen came in second in the 50 yard freestyle.
