Head coach Kelly Smith thinks the team made major improvements after dropping two against Lathrop.
“I thought we made some big improvements in taking care of the basketball,” said coach Smith. “Overall it was a great team effort physically, mentally and emotionally. All the girls were playing hard for each other, executing and supporting one another.”
The Lady Kings will travel to Anchorage to play in the Dimond Tournament. They will open the tournament with Soldotna on Wednesday.
