Kayhi girls soccer (0-5) went 0-2 against Juneau-Douglas last weekend in Juneau.
Kayhi fell to JDHS 7-0 on Thursday and 7-1 on Friday. Kayhi senior Angel Spurgeon scored Kayhi’s first conference goal off of a penalty kick to start off the season. Center forward Spurgeon was very disappointed with the outcome of the game.
“ The whole team was not happy about the way we played. Juneau-Douglas is a very good respectable team to play against,” said Spurgeon. “ I’m looking forward to build up from our losses and finish up as better team than we started.”
The Lady Kings will take on TMHS in a mid-week makeup game, and will play JDHS over the weekend.
