The Kayhi boys soccer team (5-1, 2-0) will attempt to make history against Juneau Douglas this weekend.
The Kings have never beat the Crimson Bears in their time as a high school team. Juneau Douglas is a 16 time Region champ and has won five state titles out of their 11 state final appearances, the most out of any team in Alaska.
Kayhi has not won a single game against Juneau Douglas. The closest game the Kings has played was in 2012 where they tied at home, 1-1. Last season their closest game was 1-0 at home, while their largest loss was in Juneau, where they lost 6-0.
The Kings will be playing the Bears tonight at 7 p.m. and tomorrow at 7 p.m.
