Kayhi Baseball Goes 1-2 at Thunder Mountain

The Kayhi Kings baseball team (10-5, 8-4) went 1-2 this weekend against Thunder Mountain. The Kings lost 3-2 on Friday. Kayhi lost the first game of the day on Saturday  5-4, but then bounced back with a 5-3 win.
The Kayhi Junior Varsity team went 2-0. On Friday, Kayhi won 9-8 and on Saturday Kayhi won 17-4 in the 5th inning due to the 10-run rule.
Senior Noah King is ready to rebound after a disappointing weekend in Juneau.
“Going into the weekend, I felt confident about the team, we ended Sitka with a high note beforehand and we were planning to win against Thunder Mountain but we underestimated them and lost,” said King. “This weekend we have no games and we will prepare ourselves, and practice more on what we need to work on so we can win against Juneau-Douglas next weekend.”
