The Kayhi Kings cross country team continues its season this weekend in Klawock. The boys will race at 9 a.m., and the girls at 10 on Saturday. Last weekend the Kayhi Kings took 4th place at the Juneau Invitational with the boys scoring 103 points, and the girls scoring 106.
Junior Leif Stephens said he is looking forward to competing this upcoming weekend. Stephens will be running in his first race after recovering from a broken toe.
“I am excited for this weekend, and overall as a team,” Stephens said. “I think we are getting stronger which will hopefully lead us to success.”
