Ketchikan (0-5) lost 42-9 against Thunder Mountain (3-1) at home last Friday. In the first quarter Ketchikan’s running back Jake Taylor scored a touchdown to give the Kings a 6-0 lead. In the second quarter the Kings started to fall and the Falcons gained the lead 14-6 and couldn’t come back.
Running back Jake Taylor was enthusiastic about the first half for the Kings.
“We did super good in the first half because we had the momentum, and then in the second half we just gave them the game,” Taylor said. “Our defense was stopping them in the first half super well and our offense was marching ,but in the second half our offense went nowhere and our defense gave up easy touchdowns.”
Ketchikan will have a game on Friday September 15th at home against Juneau Douglas.
