The Kayhi wrestling team won the Bill Weiss Tournament this weekend with 256 points. Six wrestlers placed first in their bracket, and four placed second.
Senior Joey Karlik (8-3) said that the tournament went as he expected it to.
“For the tournament, and the people that were there, we did what we expected to, and we did pretty well,” said Karlik. “Personally, I learned that I separated myself from a lot of the other kids. Our next tournament is at Colony, and that’ll be the true test of where I am.”
