The Kayhi football team (2-0) is traveling to Nikiski (2-1). Friday at 5 p.m. the Kings will face the Nikiski Bulldogs. Last weekend Kayhi defeated Valdez 77-0. Nikiski beat Valdez earlier this season 48-28.
Kayhi is averaging 68 points per game, while Nikiski averages 27.5 points per game.
Senior Tarrant Sasser said they have grown together as a team.
“These past two wins have prepared our offense for a bigger challenge,” said Sasser. “Our offensive line has performed way better and is ready to give our quarter back Brenden Wong all the time he needs. As a whole we’ve been working together and preparing for this weekend.”
