Saber-Toothed Salmon Win State

The Kayhi Ocean Science team took 1st place and swept the competition at the Tsunami Bowl last weekend in Seward.
This was the first time Kayhi has won the bowl and they will be moving on to the national tournament held in Washington D.C. from April 11 – 14.
Junior Talisa McKinley loves competing and loves the sport.
“I’m always excited to go to Seward to compete, because I love the ocean and learning about it in greater detail,” said McKinley. “I am excited to go to D.C. and compete more so I can potentially earn a college scholarship.”
