The Kayhi volleyball team (0-0) will host the Juneau Douglas Bears (0-0) this Friday and Saturday.
“We have a younger team this year containing more freshman and less upperclassmen, that has been challenging but we all have potential,” said senior captain Mackenzie Merrill.
At the Juneau Jamboree last week, Kayhi did not win any matches but senior co-captain Mady Purcell is looking forward to playing their first conference games.
“I am beyond excited to finally get to play some games that matter,” said Purcell.
