The Kings will be playing Colony at home this Saturday at 7:15 p.m. According to the ASAA Coaches Poll, Colony is ranked 1st in state and is 3-0 so far in the season. Colony is lead by junior Patrick McMahon and senior Colton Spencer.

McMahon and Spencer led the Knights with 36 points over a 68-55 win over East Anchorage in the Doc Larson Roundball Classic. The Knights defeated Bartlett, Doherty (CO) and East Anchorage to win the Doc Larson tournament.

Senior Kristian Pihl said that Colony is a very talented team and that the this match up is going to be good for the Kings.

“Their a big team, very talented. Watching them play, their all hungry from last year. I’m worried about how we respond to playing a great team,” said Pihl. “I hope we gain some experience from big games, with Colony being number one there’s a chance for it to be a reality check and another weekend to progress and be better.”

Due to cancellation of school on Friday the Kings will only play one game against the Knights.
