The boys soccer team kicked off conference play with a 2-0 start at the bone-chilling Fawn Mountain pitch against the Thunder Mountain Falcons last weekend. On the field friday night, the boys maintained possession most of the game and won 2-0 with both goals being scored by sophomore Radek Radzilowski.
Defense was the name of the game on Saturday as Kayhi had trouble scoring until a goal from junior Rudy Pankow saved Kayhi in the 78th minute.
Controlling the ball was Kayhi’s main tactic this weekend and in doing so junior goalkeeper Brennen Schulz didn’t have a ball go past him.
The Kings next games won’t be until May 1-2 at Juneau.
